About the Role
Working in our Fixed Plant Maintenance Reliability Team, this role is a core contributor to achieving long-term, measurable improvements in safety, performance and efficiency in Jimblebar Fixed Plant. Establishing and maintaining relationships with the maintenance, production and engineering teams will be critical to ensure success in this role. This position is based at Jimblebar and can be offered as a 5/2, 4/3, 9/5, 4/3 FIFO roster. In this role you will:
- Demonstrate safety leadership by supporting the Field Leadership program to leading/coach continuous safety improvement and performance;
- Monitor and analyse equipment defects and maintenance downtime to define department priorities and metrics;
- Lead Reliability-centred maintenance best practice through Defect Elimination processes, ensuring triggered events are investigated and actions implanted (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys and Failure Mode Effect Cause Analysis);
- Ensure compliance to work plans and statutory and legislative requirements;
- Perform detailed analysis of conditioning monitoring data, initiates maintenance strategies and/or changes to strategies to address emerging risks;
- Validate work plans are in place for critical controls and monitors the effectiveness of the plans;
- Initiate engineering requests (via 1SAP work management) on behalf of the Maintenance function to improve equipment safety and reliability, and ensures ownership of the same until completion;
- Define reliability problems, trends and make recommendations for improvements.
About You
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in an Electrical discipline;
- Strong problem solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions;
- Proficiency in 1SAP maintenance components preferable;
- Data driven with a focus on integrity;
- Ability to influence, engage with & communicate effectively across multiple levels, business units and functional areas from frontline employees to senior management;
- Experience as an Electrical Reliability, Maintenance, Project or Design Engineer will be advantageous;
- Understanding defect elimination, RCA’s with a mindset for preventative maintenance.
