We are looking for an Engineer - Water Management to join the Water Management team at Tom Price.

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Tom Price, Pilbara, WA and is offered as a 5/2/4/3 roster. 

Reporting to the Superintendent Production Dewatering and Projects and working in a collaborative community of stakeholders, you will be:

  • Providing technical support to the Superintendent and the Dewatering Supervisor Team
  • Supporting the development of the water management schedule/ plan
  • Analysing and interpreting a broad array of water data
  • Coordinating and in regular communication with the Hydrology and Mine Technical Services teams
  • Providing daily and long-term water management advice to ensure the pit and site water balance requirements are adhered to
  • Providing technical guidance to the business on the capital acquisition process and completing associated paperwork
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitating the MTS alignment meeting and 6 weekly water steering committee meeting
  • Monitoring water management KPI’s

What you will bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Environmental Science or Engineering degree is desirable but not essential
  • Class C driving licence license
  • Experience in mine site water management
  • Experience in mine regulations and reporting is desirable
