About the Role
As the Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible to undertake day-to-day preventative and breakdown maintenance & operation of FIFO camp electrical assets. The location of this role is within NPI camps, based at Mining Area C site.
Reporting to the Supervisor NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure), your role will include but not limited to:
- Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with maintenance planning systems and recommending appropriate follow-up action
- Working from schematic drawings, prints, plans or manuals, and recording any modifications
- Statutory Inspections and testing on Village Assets
- Kitchen Equipment Preventative maintenance and repairs
- Village rooms & Laundry’s maintenance repairs
- Breakdown and fault analysis, repairs and servicing on commercial assets, commercial and split air conditioning systems
- general duties as prescribed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Carrying out commissioning, fault finding and repair work within the whole-of-job scope, including pre-work, preparation of JHAs, organizing materials, execution, testing and completion of tasks
- Safely carry out equipment isolations in preparation for maintenance and shutdowns
- Accurately completing documentation, including drawing mark-ups and technical reporting
- Accurately recording information for Quality and Reliability reporting; Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance systems and cost saving initiatives
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Overriding Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills
- Trade Certificate, WA Electrical workers License
- EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights Certificates (Desirable)
- Experience with statutory compliance requirements for Mine Safety and Inspection Act.
- Sound experience with commercial kitchen equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- FIFO Camp maintenance and operation background highly (desirable).
- 1SAP /Fiori experience (Highly Desirable)
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Power point, Adobe
Location
You will be based at Mulla Village (MAC) on a fly-in fly-out 7/7 roster. The outstanding facilities at our FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, golf driving nets, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court; beach volleyball court, games room and TV lounge. All rooms at the village have access to 4G wireless internet and Skype, an ensuite bathroom, flat screen television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
