About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor Electrical Maintenance HV & Power Coastal, this role is responsible for assisting with day to day supervision and coordination of the team to ensure they continuously achieve high levels of availability and reliability in the most efficient, cost effective and safe manner.

- Compliance with the relevant legislation including but not limited to the Work Health and Safety Act & Regulations
- As an Electrical Nominee ensure that all electrical work is compliant to AS 3000 and electrical maintenance, installations and incidents are recorded in the Electrical Log Book and reported to the network regulator and associated regulating bodies
- Supporting an incident/injury free environment, by leading by example and coaching the team to meet and exceed HSEC targets
- Leading and coaching team members in the active pursuit and achievement of production and productivity targets
- Performing all the duties expected of an Engineering Technician Electrical including operation and maintenance of Transmission and Distribution HV and LV Assets
- Monitoring and measuring standards of work and performance of team members
- Advising team members on technical details relating to High Voltage Operation and Maintenance
- Review production and safety KPI's and communicate these to the team
- Liaising with planners with the development of daily, weekly, monthly plans
About You
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Electrical trade qualification – WA 'A' Grade License
- Experience with HV electrical equipment and systems specific to mining and utilities (including diagnosis and fault finding substations, switchgear and transformers)
- High voltage switching operations training and experience
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
- Experience with computer maintenance management systems (preferably 1SAP); will be highly regarded
- Valid Australian C class driver's license, HR preferred
