About the role
We're offering an exciting chance for an Environmental Superintendent to become a part of our Tritton Copper Operations team. In this role, you'll report to the HSE Manager, and your primary responsibility will be to offer environmental assistance to the mining operation in accordance with our company's environmental management plans and regulatory obligations.
Located in the beautiful Orana region of NSW, this position offers either FIFO, DIDO or Residential, with rosters to suit your lifestyle.
About You
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.

About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ Experience in the mining industry
- Knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and statutory requirements
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Choice of 7/7 Day roster (FIFO or DIDO) or 5/2 4/3 roster (Residential)
- Travel or Residential allowance
- Meals & Accommodation provided by the company OR $15,000 Net Residential Allowance to reside locally
- 8 Year Mine Life - working direct for the Mine Owner/Operator
