Work Location: Across various sites

Roster: 2:1 or 2:2 ex Perth, Karratha, Port Hedland or Broome

Fortescue is seeking suitably experienced mining operators who have operated the following equipment in a mining environment:

• CAT 789 Dump Trucks

As a skilled Mining Operator, you will be responsible for operating mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis
• Meet daily operational targets
• Maintain assets to operational capacity
• Constantly strive to increase process efficiency
• Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to skilfully operate CAT 789 Dump Trucks
• Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential
• Ability to read mine plans
• Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs
• WA Class C Driver's License
• Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation
• Time management skills
