About the Role  

You’ll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating 250+ tonnes excavators and other mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Greenbushes.  

Role Details 

• Location: Greenbushes 
• Roster: 2:1, day/night roster

Responsibilities  

• Safe, efficient operation of large excavator equipment  
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately  
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules  
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions with all teams  
• Contribute to our people-first culture and live our Winning Values  
• Attend and participate in PSI and safety meetings
• Complete Mac 5’s and be involved in the development of JSEA’s when required
• Ensure individual compliance with all relevant Legislation, Codes of Practice, Macmahon and Client instructions, policies, procedures and practices

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience operating the following excavators in a mining environment: Hitachi EX2600 & EX3600
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up  
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic  
• Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
