The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to provide Administration Support for the Worsley Vice President Operations and Senior Leadership Team. You will ensure high Level & Confidential executive support and office management.

This is an anchor role with a focus on cohesive and cross-functional support to members of the operational lead team

This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

Accountabilities 

Primary responsibilities include:

• Management of VPO calendar appointments and inbox – exercising judgement, diplomacy and specialist knowledge to prioritise matters to be brought to attention. Independently managing urgent and often unexpected issues
• Provision of administrative support for the Senior Leadership Team which includes reviewing documents
• Ensure service delivery of reception of the Regional Operations Centre
• Create and manage purchase orders where applicable
• Maintain strong relationships with administrators across South32

About You  

• Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines; or 2 – 3 years relevant Administration experience.

• Previous experience executive administration role.

• Ability to effectively communicate and influence across various levels of the business.
• Highly proficient in the use Microsoft Office programs and 60wpm typing skills
• Demonstrated skills and experience in time management, prioritising workload, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy to complete tasks and achieve objectives

Location

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.
