About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support administrative activities including the development and delivery of work plans, execution of administrative functions/communications, essential data management practices and the fostering of a positive team culture to drive efficiency across operational routines.

Reporting to VP Resource COE & Legacy Assets, your key accountabilities include:  

  • Supports the development and delivery of work plans, manages the execution of administrative functions and communications, designs/carries out essential data management practices and fosters a positive team culture to drive efficiency across administrative processes and operational routines. 
  • Develops and communicates insights that guide data driven action and decision making. 
  • Supports the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximise operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk. 
  • Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sources information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence based decision making. 
  • Applies and evaluates change management tools, methods, data, purpose, value and strategic direction. 
  • Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance. 
  • Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation. 
  • Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste. 
  • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in supporting senior leaders in the executive or C Suite levels.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, proactively establish priorities and take responsibility for time sensitive deliverables.
  • Your strong solving communication and organizational skills will be an asset - as will your attention to detail, initiative and talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You will be an advocate for enabling collaboration and the simplification of tasks and possess strong knowledge of office suite systems.

Location

In this full-time permanent position, you will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues. You will be working on Monday-Friday roster while flexible work is also offered.
