This is an Expression of Interest to join our growing Legal team.

We are seeking two senior legal professionals covering the separate areas of:

1. General corporate and M&A:

• Advising on M&A activities (acquisitions, mergers and divestments);
• Advising on projects including renewables and sustainability opportunities;
• Providing company secretarial support; and
• Advising finance, tax and treasury functions.

1. Mining operations support:

• Being the primary point of contact for legal services to Australian Peabody operations’
• Familiarity with providing legal advice for health and safety, planning and approvals, environment, tenure, real property, native title and cultural heritage matters.

These careers opportunities will be based in our Australian head office in the Fortitude Valley.

About you:

• Minimum of 8+ years PQE.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience in managing complex legal issues.
• Commercial minded and solutions focused.
• Strong organizational, time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
