Fabrication Supervisor

Work Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO Ex Perth or Busselton

The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organisation, leadership and support of our Fabrication team within Mobile Maintenance. This is a great opportunity for a safety orientated leader that holds a strong skillset within this field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating a strong safety culture and instilling this within your team
• Providing support, mentoring, and coaching to the Mobile Maintenance Fabrication team
• Maintain budget and safety performance whilst ensuring targets are met
• Providing safe, effective, and timely outcomes
• Ensure all team activities are aligned with the overall business objectives

Education and Experience:

• Fabrication Trade qualification essential 
• Demonstrated experience within a leadership role in Mobile Maintenance with a proven commitment to safety
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP highly desirable
• Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scale operations
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
