About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance you will be responsible for the Electrical Maintenance at the Leinster Township and FIFO Village:

  • Display Safe work practices and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a culture of care.
  • Ensure high quality and efficient standard of work.
  • Experience in; Domestic installation and maintenance, Camp, Village and Kitchen Maintenance, High Voltage Switching, Fault finding and problem solving.
  • Follow workplace procedures and set standards and autonomously respond to technical or trade requests making effective decisions where necessary.
  • Ensuring all scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed on time.
  • Assist in the ground handling of Aircraft when required.

About Leinster

Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.  The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.  The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and even an 18-hole golf course.

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:   

  • WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence
  • White card
  • CPR and LVR
  • EWP and Working at Heights
  • Current C Class manual Drivers Licence
  • HV Switching experience would be a distinct advantage
  • SAP experience would be a distinct advantage
