Facilities Supervisor

Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off

Role overview:

Based at the Fortescue Centre and Reporting to the Facilities Superintendent, you will be responsible for the planned and ad hoc maintenance across FMG buildings.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Carry out minor facility repairs, maintenance, and audits
• Effective supervision of contractors, including inductions and monitoring of safe work practices
• Responding to staff enquiries, ensuring timely and quality service delivery
• Raising job notifications and ensuring the contractors and staff are kept well informed on job progress
• Providing administrative assistance to the Facilities Superintendent

Qualification and Experience:

• Trade qualified preferred
• Solid understanding of safe work practices
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to manage, use and maintain administrative systems (Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Systems)
