About the role 

We are looking for women who have either FIFO experience or experience in a mining or another earthmoving capacity such as construction or civil works to join our Mining Operations Teams at our sites across the Pilbara.  Here, we safely operate large scale mining equipment such as watercarts, trucks, loaders, excavators and dozers to extract iron ore ready to process and ship to our overseas customers.

We have vacancies across Mobile Plant Operations, Drill and Blast Operations and Fixed Plant Operations who play a crucial role to the success of the operation as they play a key role in the production supply chain. Whether you’re new to your profession or experienced in your field, we have opportunities that will provide interesting work and growth opportunities for everyone.

You’ll be part of a friendly and inclusive team, supported by our dedicated trainers for your first 5 swings to ensure you are equipped with the tools and knowledge to set you up for success, once your training has been completed, you will then be placed at your permanent team at one of our Pilbara Mine Sites.

You’ll do 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off, which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. You can commute to site directly from Perth so you can grow your career while continuing to enjoy the lifestyle you choose.

You’ll stay on site for the duration of your roster with your own room equipped with TV and ensuite, the mess offers extensive menu options to suit most dietary requirements and there a wide range of activities to keep you entertained after your shift such as group gym classes, yoga and swimming pool.

What you’ll bring  

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

  • Unrestricted C-Class Manual Driving Licence

  • Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset

  • Experience working in a Mining Operations role in mining or another heavy industry
