Financial Controller
Pit N Portal are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join the team. Based at our Osborne Park office, this role will report to Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and development of the PNP finance team to ensure members are appropriately skilled, trained and act in accordance with Emeco group values.
- Support and drive business through provision of timely accurate and inciteful financial information.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Cashflow management involving challenging the business on recoverability of claims and variations
- Creating and implementing effective financial controls and processes
- Conducting Internal and external audits
- Ad hoc support as required – tenders, business cases etc.
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial accounting, taxation, compliance reporting and audit preparation, preferably within mining
- Previous experience in leading/managing complex projects and a team
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated practical accounting knowledge and advanced understanding of accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to respond quickly to change and evolving priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
