Mount Isa Mines are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter, in the Zinc Lead Concentrator, Maintenance Team at Mount Isa Mines. This is a residentially based position in Mount Isa. Various rosters such as a 5/2/4/3, 4/4/4/2 are available.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide effective maintenance in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner to ensure that production and statutory requirements are met. This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience and develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- A demonstrated commitment to safety
- Trade qualification – Fitter (Mechanical) essential
- Current manual driver’s license
- Experience within mining/heavy industry environment.
- Experience with hydraulics, grinding mills, pumps and flotation circuits will be advantageous
- Sound computer skills
- A self-motivated attitude and enjoy working in small yet highly productive teams
- The ability to adapt to change in duties from day to day
