Electrician
Work Location: Various sites across the Pilbara region
Roster: 7D7N7R & 7D7N14R rosters available – FIFO Perth or Busselton
Key responsibilities include:
- Breakdown and preventative maintenance on the OPF (ore processing facility) assets
- Daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of fixed plant equipment
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
- Raising notifications and work orders
- Modular and shutdown maintenance
- Statutory testing and inspections
Qualifications and Experience:
- Australian Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current WA 'A' class electrical workers licence
- High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching highly regarded
- Electrical tradesperson background, preferably in an operating plant environment
- Understanding of PLC and control communication systems
- Basic instrumentation experience
- Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
