Our Opportunity

Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people. 

Roster: 7D7N14R – FIFO ex Perth

 As a Fixed Plant Fitter at Iron Bridge's project, your expertise will be essential in maintaining and optimising our processing equipment  critical to our operations, ensuring they operate efficiently and in alignment with our ambitious sustainability goals. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on OPF assets
• Perform daily inspections, repairs, and servicing of fixed plant equipment
• Complete diagnostics and fault finding on electrical systems
• Scope and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Raise notifications and work orders in line with maintenance systems
• Undertake modular and shutdown maintenance activities
• Conduct statutory testing and inspections
• Work in compliance with AS3000, Work Health Regulations and Acts

Qualifications and Experience

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter)
• Experience working within a Fixed Plant (dry plant) processing environment 
• Familiarity and background in working with pumps
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
