About the Role

Reporting directly to the Fixed Plant (FP) Execution Superintendent, this role is responsible for the week +1 to +4 coordination of maintenance activities & outages across the fixed plants of the mine.

To provide a communication and coordination between the Maintenance, Planning and Production Departments that allows for both scheduled and required maintenance work to be carried out with the least disruption to the plant’s function and in the safest, most efficient manner. 

Providing support, the objective of maximising throughput of the Fixed plants and ensuring an optimum utilisation of resources. Assist in the development of the Weekly plan for the smooth execution of maintenance activities in conjunction with the Planning department and other stakeholders (consistent application of efforts will contribute to the achievement of business targets).

Your major responsibilities will include:

•    Identifying and implementing initiatives that contribute value to the business from a Maintenance and Processing perspective, ensuring compliance to the Change Management Procedure. •    Execution of minor projects as directed by the FP Execution Superintendent. •    Participate in creating, amending and reviewing site documentation such as procedures and work instructions in accordance with the Change Management and document control process.   •    Ensure compliance to the 1SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the 1SAP system. •    Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process. •    Ensure returns of unused or reparable materials are processed accurately. •    Ensure materials & parts issues are captured & plans documented to prevent a re-occurrance •    Validate quality of work performed by 3rd parties and the related service entry sheets. •    Review and request updates to Work Management and other Master Data as required (e.g. Maintenance Strategies, Task List and Work Instructions). •    Relieve the FP Execution Superintendent, when required to do so.
