Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Work Location: Christmas Creek - Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster:  7D7N7R

The Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will support the maintenance team working within the Ore Processing Facility.

This is a great opportunity for a safety orientated leader that holds a strong skillset within this field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating a strong safety culture and instilling this within your team
  • Providing support, mentoring, and coaching to the mechanical maintenance team
  • Maintain OPF budget and safety performance whilst ensuring targets are met
  • Providing safe, effective, and timely outcomes within the Ore Processing facility
  • Ensure all team activities are aligned with the overall business objectives

Education and Experience:

  • Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification essential with proven experience as a leader within fixed plant maintenance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support a diverse team
  • Highly developed communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proven commitment to safe work practices
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP highly desirable
