Fixed Plant Operations Supervisor
Work Location: Christmas Creek - Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 7D7N7R
The Fixed Plant Operations Supervisor will support a team of Process Operators working within the Ore Processing Facility and the Train Load Out area.
This is a great opportunity for a safety orientated leader that holds a strong skillset in fixed plant operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a strong safety culture and instilling this within your team
- Providing support, mentoring, and coaching to the operations team
- Assist in developing site processes and procedures to facilitate safe work practices
- Providing safe, effective, and timely outcomes within the Ore Processing facility
- Ensure all team activities are aligned with the overall business objectives
Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role gained within fixed plant operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support a diverse team
- Highly developed communication skills, verbal and written
- Proven commitment to safe work practices
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP highly desirable
