Fortescue People Officer

Work Location: Chichester Hub (CC & CB)

Roster: 4D/3R – FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Fortescue People Superintendent this role is a key member of the Chichester Hub Fortescue People team, influencing site culture and employee engagement. This role has strong links to the Perth based People Services team.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Providing support and advice to the Chichester Hub team in relation to general Fortescue People enquiries such as policy and procedure interpretation
• Supporting the HR team and key stakeholders in processing of employee changes within Success Factors and other associated Fortescue People systems  
• Supporting key stakeholders in technical input relating to Fortescue People systems
• Analysing data and providing regular and ad hoc reports as required
• Contributing to Fortescue People projects, initiatives and programs
• Proactively identify processes within the Fortescue People that would benefit from improvements

 Qualifications and skills required:

• Degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations and/or
• Prior experience in a HR or Recruitment administration or systems capacity
• Intermediate technical aptitude with data analytics, including excel capability
• Knowledge and experience of HR systems with experience in Success Factors and SAP (preferable)
• Demonstrated experience working effectively within diverse work environments
• Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrated collaborative approach
