Join the Deflector underground gold mining team as an EXPERIENCED Frontline Jumbo Operator and take the lead as an integral part of the crew in the Murchison region of Western Australia. About the role
FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton
Family friendly 2:2 roster
High grade shallow vein gold mine site
Great camp facilities including gym, social club, simulators and BBQ area
Stable crew with values-based culture at the forefront 
$125 – $143.80 per hour (dependant on experience)

About you 

• Read and understand Development Designs and memos
• Preform thorough pre-starts and report any damages
• Previous experience as a frontline jumbo operator on SANDVIK DD421 
• All aspects of development mining, including incline/decline and ore boring drive
• Drilling of all blast holes required for safe and efficient underground development to proceed
• Installation of ground support using Split Set Bolts and Mesh
• Mechanical scaling as required
• Complete daily planned inspection reports correctly 
• Install mine services when required
• Be proactive with specific role requirements relating to the mining cycle, ensuring minimal operational downtime
• Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
• Current manual Australian driver's licence
