Job Tasks and Responsibilities

This key position presents an opportunity for a high performing, enthusiastic person to provide support to the Ashton Technical Services team on Gas Drainage systems.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this role will be responsible for:

• Managing the Gas Drainage Plant
• Design and review of the Gas Drainage infrastructure
• Coordination and supervisor of all gas well surface and underground drilling activities

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in planning and managing project work
• Sound understanding of responsibilities in relation to Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum) Act and Regulations
• 2 years experience in a Gas Drainage position
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• NSW Ventilation Officer qualification (highly desirable)
