Aeris Resources is a mid-tier base and precious metals producer. About the role
Reporting to the Exploration Superintendent, you will support exploration activities (drilling, mapping, core processing, data entry, etc.) performing measurements on diamond core including but not limited to bulk density, magnetic susceptibility, spectral analysis, hardness, portable XRF and other technology as required, and managing drill sites preparations and rehabilitation in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. managing drill sites preparations and rehabilitation in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Predominantly based in the field, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your initiative, assisting across a range of activities (working with RC, Diamond, AC rigs and other sampling techniques, assisting and overseeing the sampling collection, handling, data entry and dispatch. You may also be able to operate equipment (eg Forklift, Front End Loader and/or Bob Cat) as required.
About You
Jaguar Operations is an established underground zinc, copper, gold and silver mining operation located 65km north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. It was acquired by Aeris Resources in July 2022. The Jaguar Operations tenement package spans a 410km2 area and hosts multiple favourable stratigraphic horizons along a 50km corridor.
Operations include an underground mine at the Bentley deposit utilising open stoping methods and a 600ktpa processing plant producing copper and zinc concentrates with precious metals by-products. Concentrates are trucked to the Geralton for export to customers internationally.

About You
- 1- 3 years’ experience working as a Geology Field Technician, you will
- Have completed Year 12 or equivalent schooling
- Preferably have some post trade experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environment
- Have experience with diamond, RC, and AC drill rigs, core processing and sampling practices
- Be spending 80% of your time in the field, you will have the opportunity to pursue your passion of exploration geology, whilst working on and around rigs, supporting senior team with sampling, field site prep, assist during drilling and site remediation.
- Have strong computer skill set with proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and with some GIS (MapInfo) skills with experience in operating a handheld GPS will be desirable
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to speak up when needing direction and support.

- FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie
- 8/6 roster
