We are looking for a GIS Analyst to provide GIS support to the business. The role will involve acquiring, processing, maintaining and analysing our spatial datasets to assist in making business decisions, supporting work programmes and creating value. 

This role is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic and exciting team of like-minded GIS professionals and be involved in supporting the growth of our business. Reporting to the GIS Specialist – GIS Delivery, State Agreement & Approvals, you will be: 

  • Capturing, processing, storing and analysing vector and raster data.
  • Improving the efficiency of data processing.
  • Creating fit for purpose maps for reports and presentations.
  • Preparing maps for mobile devices.
  • Liaising with customers to achieve value adding outcomes.
  • Providing support and training to GIS users.

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: 

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary-level qualifications in GIS or related discipline.
  • Advanced ESRI Desktop skills.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Experience with ETCL software (FME).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptive approach to fluctuating workloads, priorities and supporting other team members
  • Exposure to Environmental, Approvals and Heritage datasets

Where you’ll be working

Perth based but with a working focus on the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
