Emeco have an opportunity for an experienced Area Manager to join our Kalgoorlie team. Working a Monday to Friday roster.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the effective financial management of sites.
- Ensure profitability is met and costs are controlled and measured at all times.
- Work with the relevant account manager to review EOM calculators and reconciliations.
- Liaise with customers and build relationships ensuring that client satisfaction is met, and value added to current projects and other future opportunities with Emeco, Force and Pit N Portal.
- Takes responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, provides leadership and technical support, and ensures team takes responsibility for their tasks.
- Identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve Emeco processes, systems, and performance.
- Sub-contractor labour ratio management and effective contractor management Ensuring that all workers undertaking activities on behalf of Emeco (including approved contractors, sub-contractors, and labour hire staff) are correctly registered through the Emeco contractor management process,
- Timely and accurate communication with Western Region Maintenance Manager on significant maintenance events (planned and unplanned).
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Must be a Kalgoorlie resident.
- Proven track record in a maintenance management role associated with mining and heavy mobile equipment.
- Demonstrate strong client management and liaison skills and has good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where mostly limited standardisation exists.
- Effective planning ability including establishment of goals, setting priorities, and allocating appropriate time to tasks. Able to schedule activities and arrange necessary resources.
- Demonstrate high-level organisational and communication skills including effective negotiation with clients on contract commercial terms.
- Can identify and facilitate effective high-level customer and stakeholder relationships and fosters cooperation.
- Able to manage the capital expenditure program in relation to programming, cost control and allocation.
- Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification (advantageous)
- Australian Drivers Licence
Completion of the following modules: (advantageous)
- RIICOM301D Communicate information.
- RIIRIS301D Apply risk management processes.
- BSBMGT401 Show leadership in the workplace.
- RIIBEF402D Supervise on-site operations.
- RIIWHS301D Conduct Health and Safety Investigations
- Section 44 MSI Act Appointed Person Obligations
