About the Role 

   We are enthusiastically seeking a talented professional to lead the mine planning team in the role of Manager Mine Planning – this is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of mining, as a key leader at the largest autonomous haulage coal mine in the world. Reporting to the General Manager Goonyella Riverside Mine, this is an exciting key leadership role, accountable to provide strategic direction, excellence in mine planning services to our customers, and steward technical capability to support the operation. 

  You will shape and drive improvement through a team of technical experts, and be instrumental in influencing our future business outlook. You will work with our stakeholders at sites and across supporting functions to develop optimised mine plans across tactical and strategic time horizons, and ensure that opportunities are assessed appropriately for plan inclusion or further study.  You will hold responsibility for the safe performance of your team, to optimise departmental cost efficiency, and to continue to build a supportive and performance oriented culture within your team.
