Moranbah. Goonyella Riverside Mine utilises both Dragline and Autonomous Truck & Shovel stripping methods to uncover 3 seams of coal and is processed through 2 prep plants.
About the role Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Scheduling, as the Specialist Mine Scheduling you will be engaged in providing clear direction to the execution teams through mine designs and schedules for the 0 to 12 week time frame for the truck & shovel fleets.

- Prepare Truck & Shovel designs;
- Communicate the designs to Production Coordinators and Operations;
- Participate in the investigation of reported events for Production Planning;
- Identify and implement Production Planning improvement initiatives;
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have a tertiary education background in Mining Engineering (or Civil) with previous experience working at an operations level. Your demonstrated experience working in mine planning teams particularly planning and scheduling for truck and shovel will see you succeed in this role. .
A strong working knowledge of design tools (Deswik/Vulcan), Microsoft Office, Xact software packages are desirable.
