Graduate Electrical Engineer

About the role:  As a Graduate: Electrical Engineers, you will learn how to deliver best practice electrical mining engineering services. Initially based at our Wambo site located 30 kilometres west of Singleton, this role will see you right in the technical services teams for our Open Cut & Underground Operations. You will learn not only how to become a better engineer, but also how to work safer, smarter and how to maximise value for coal mining operations.

This is a permanent opportunity for graduates who want to grow with the best and will see you undertaking 2 12 month rotations across our operations before moving into a role based at one of our locations.

To qualify for the Peabody Energy Graduate Programme, you must:

• Have a degree or postgraduate degree (Honours or Masters) in Mining or Electrical Engineering or another relevant disciplines to Mining Engineering.
• Have completed your degree within the last 2 years or are due to graduate by December 2022.
• Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
• Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Want to work at a mine site
