Graduate Engineer - Mining

The role 

• 4 x 6 monthly rotations experiencing Macmahon’s multiple open pit operations
• Complete the required “ops time” to support obtaining a Quarry Manager’s Certificate
• Develop technical expertise to excel as Engineers
• Develop soft skills to excel as professionals
• Exposure to various commodities
• Experience different mining methods

The ideal candidate

• Engineering degree – to be completed by Feb 2023
• Willingness to work a 2/1 FIFO roster
• Willingness to travel to various mine sites across Australia
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Strong safety orientation 
• A desire to learn and challenge yourself 
• An unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
