About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated and driven Graduate Mechanical Engineer to work as part of the Maintenance & Engineering team at Tritton Mine.
Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager you will assist in managing capital and operating projects. With a strong focus on safety you will utilise a continuous improvement and lean mindsets in order to drive safety and reliability initiatives.
About You
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.

- Mechanical engineering degree from a recognised institution
- A strong ability to analyse data, and generate reports and maintenance strategies
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach
- Ability to communicate with and relate to all personal on site
- Be self-motivated, team orientated with excellent people skills and problem-solving ability
- 14 / 14 roster
- 5 Weeks Annual Leave
- DIDO or Residential roster and travel options
- DIDO Travel allowance
- $15,000 Net Residential Allowance to reside locally
- Short Term Incentive Program, reviewed quarterly
- 8 Year Mine Life - working direct for the Mine Owner/Operator
