Glencore Zinc Assets Australia has a number of opportunities opening to graduating or recently graduated university students to join our Mining Engineer Graduate Program. About the role
As a Graduate Mining Engineer, you will be developed through multiple rotations, including but not limited to, Mine Planning, Drill and Blast, Backfill, Operational Engineering. In addition, you will rotate through Operational Engineering roles, Scheduling and Planning roles, culminating in you being a key decision maker in the design of multimillion dollar stopes. With access to some of the best technical services professionals in Australia, you will be developed through an underground or surface rotation programme that sets you up for success on your path to a statutory Managers ticket. All of our programs provide access to technical and operational leaders in the industry, who will want to assist in your development as a well-rounded Engineer and future resources sector leader.
The successful applicant will have:
- A Bachelor of Mining Engineering or similar
- Have graduated from university within the last 2 years
