Macmahon Maintenance Masters is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our internal labour support division on 7:7 DIDO rosters at a range of sites, which include Saraji, Foxleigh and Byerwyn Coal Mines. Saraji and Foxleigh are both located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, with Foxleigh being located 12km South of Middlemount. Byrewyn is located 20km's West of  Glenden. Macmahon Maintenance Masters provides support to Macmahon’s surface and underground mining operations and is suited to a tradesperson who is confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day. 

Skills & Responsibilities:

•    Relevant Trade Certificate
•    Proven experience with a variety of Cat & Hitachi Diggers, Dump Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Loaders and Drills
•    Experience with major components would be advantageous including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drives and minor components including pumps & cylinders
•    Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
•    Previous experience in the mining industry - underground or surface operations
