Our Opportunity

 

Work Location: Cloudbreak, located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli Peoples

 

Roster: 7 Days / 7 Nights / 14 Days Off - FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra

 

Cloudbreak is seeking a HD Fitter - Ancillary to safely maintain and repair a diverse fleet of ancillary mobile equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure equipment reliability and availability through quality preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on ancillary mobile equipment
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance inspections
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults
  • Complete breakdown repairs safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability
  • Adhere to site safety standards and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve targets

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Australian recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Experience maintaining ancillary mining equipment in a mining environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on diesel and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu and other ancillary equipment fleets
  • Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Sound understanding of safe work practices and risk management
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
