HD Fitter - Drills
Work Location:
- Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7D7N14R FIFO Ex Perth, Busselton or Karratha
You will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repairs to our Drill fleet, conducting inspections with particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of large-scale mining equipment (drills)
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- Workshop and pit duties as required
- Work in conjunction with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed.
Education and Experience:
- Australian recognised trade certificate in the relevant field
- Previous experience working in the mining or heavy industry
- Mobile plant and Drills experience is essential
- High regard for safety
- Heavy Rigid Driver’s License (desirable)
