The Workshop undertakes a range of tasks to manage Macmahon’s fleet of equipment, as well as maintenance projects for external clients. The workshop is undercover and houses the rebuild workshop, quarantine, sandblast and paint shop, component workshop and warehouse store. 

Our maintenance teams take pride in keeping our sites operating safely and efficiently. You’ll work with skilled people, who look out for each other and take pride in doing the job right. Together, we keep our fleet safe and reliable.  

About the Role 
You’ll carry out machine rebuilds on Surface (CAT) & Underground (Sandvik) mobile plant. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently. 

Role Details and Benefits 
•    Location: Perth Airport
•    Roster: Monday – Friday OR Alternative – you choose! 
•    Rate: $54 - $58 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities  
•    Machine rebuilds on CAT & Sandvik Earthmoving Equipment
•    Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures 
•    Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance 
•    Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
•    Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work 

What You’ll Bring 
•    Australian-recognised trade 
•    Proven experience working on Earthmoving Equipment
•    Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) 
•    Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
•    Commitment to safe work practices and job quality
