Macmahon is currently seeking experienced HD Mechanics & Fitters to join teams across various Australian operations. These positions will be on a continuous day and night 14 Shifts on / 7 Shifts off roster, flying from Perth. Macmahon has recently acquired $1.4bn in exciting new mining projects across Western Australia & Queensland. With existing operations at Tropicana Gold Mine, Telfer Gold Mine, Mt Morgans Gold Mine, new Macmahon projects at Gwalia Underground, Julius Gold Mine, King of the Hills Gold mine and more, there are a wide range of opportunities at Macmahon.
To be considered for this position you will have:
• An Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment, specifically Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr
• Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
• Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations;
• Physically fit for the demands of the role.

Should you be successful in being offered a role in Macmahon’s Surface or Underground Mining Divisions, you will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test along with obtaining a National Police Clearance. You will also be required to provide evidence of current Australian working rights.
