The Telfer Gold Mine is located in the Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and produces copper and gold. Macmahon will continue to deliver the surface drill and blast, load and haul, mobile maintenance and rehandle mine functions.  Telfer camp has seen recent upgrades to facilities including refreshed dining, wet mess and gym.

Looking for experienced mechanics to work on a fleet of Caterpillar 6060 and Hitachi EX3600 excavators. 

Get paid up to $79.50 with additional 7% market uplift (taking hourly rate to $85.07)
 

Candidates must have previous experience on Caterpillar/Terex excavators, sound diagnostics skills with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, Cummins and Cat engines.
 

•    Have the ability to work with limited Supervision. 
•    Mentor and train others.
•    Be able to interpret schematics and procedures.
•    Ability to co-ordinate shutdowns, in consultation with Supervision and Planning teams.
•    Courage to speak up and stop the job if unsafe.

As a part of the recruitment process for this role you may be required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of laboratory drug and alcohol screen and complete a criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally you will must provide proof of working rights in Australia i.e. copy of valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
