Due to our ongoing growth, Macmahon is currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team at the King of the Hills (KOTH) mine located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, 28km north of Leonora. Macmahon has secured a five-year Surface and Underground mining contract with RED 5 Ltd. The mine anticipates annual production above 200kozpa. KOTH is Australia’s next major Gold Mine, which will feature state-of-the-art technology, 85% new plant and brand-new camp facilities.

About the Position;
    • Roster negotiable –2/2 or 2/1 (happy to discuss alternative options)
    • FIFO ex Peth
    • Attractive hourly rates
    • Permanent, long-term opportunity with 6 weeks annual leave per year

Skills & Experience Required: 
    • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate  
    • Current C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum)
    • Minimum 2 year's experience in the role or similar within the mining industry working in Underground and Surface operations.
    • Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground/surface
    • Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
    • Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
    • Maintain maintenance data on a daily basis
    • Sound planning and organisational skills

As a part of the recruitment process for this role you are required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol screening and completion of criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will be required to provide proof of working rights in Australia, i.e. a copy of your valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
