HD Tyre Fitter

Macmahon currently has an exciting opportunity for qualified HD Tyre Fitters to join the maintenance team at the Dawson South, Moura coal project located in the Bowen Basin on a 7:7 DIDO roster.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role of the Tyre Fitter within Macmahon Dawson South project is to manage all rubber tyre applications on all mobile equipment, including mechanical, technical and practical facets, in compliance with obligations under the Queensland Coal Mining Health & Safety Act Regulations.

About you:

• Certificate II Tyre Fitting and Tyre handling
• RIIHAN 201A (forklift / tyre handler operation competency) \ 
• RIINP 0208A (Loader / tyre handler) 
• RIISAMT 10A (1031A, automotive cert, R and I heavy equipment tyres) 
• RIISAMT 11A (1032A, automotive cert R and I heavy equipment tyres) 
• HR Licence 
• Knowledge and experience of heavy mobile plant, Caterpillar Haul Tucks, Graders, dozers, and ancillary equipment 
• Standard 11 induction 
• Coal Board Medical 
• Drug & Alcohol Screen 
• Drivers Licence (manual)
