About the role:

We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to join the team in the Brisbane office. Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, the purpose of the role is to provide support to the HSEC team and assist with the day-to-day duties of the Tenements team.

Primary duties:

  • Monitor OLT activities on Peabody Land and Tenements and support Overlapping Tenure (OLT) information exchanges by coordinating regular meetings and preparing meeting minutes and follow up actions.
  • Administer the maintenance of records and registers of all Tenure and Land matters.
  • Co-ordinate all key stakeholders to provide input and information to be supplied with all accompanying documentation to required statutory forms inclusive of all technical material.
  • Prepare, submit and monitor on a timely basis, all Government reporting and payments requirements for land and tenures and track completion by due dates.
  • Qld tenement renewals or grant of tenement Landholder notifications.
  • Administer the Land Management System database.
  • Filing and scanning.
  • Conduct Title Searches
  • Enter acquisitions/disposals of land into ATO FIRB Land & Water Register within 30 days of acquisition/disposal.
  • Enter water licence status changes into ATO Water Register annually by 30 July.
  • Provide support as required to HSEC team.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the tenements sector 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills 
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving skills and a “can do” attitude 
  • Outstanding multitasking and organisational skills  
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail coupled with problem solving abilities
