Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the HST Superintendent, the role will require you to:

• Provide technical expertise, advice and coaching in all matters relating to Health, Safety and Training in line with the company’s health safety management system, training framework and relevant legislation.

• Assist with the development and implementation of training packages, coordinate all site training initiatives, maintaining training and competency records and assist with induction management. 

• Facilitate and support site assurance and audit activities inclusive of site and contractor’s health and safety management systems 

• Assist with injury management and rehabilitation for injured personnel. 

• Complete and forward notifications of health and safety matters to the relevant governing bodies.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS/Training
• Experience in return to work coordination.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office suite.

Desired Criteria:

• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
