Heavy Diesel Fitters – Site-Based | Blackwater Region, QLD

Seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters to maintain our Emeco fleet of heavy earth moving mining equipment at a mine site in the Blackwater Region.

What We Need From You:

• Australian-recognised trade qualification (Heavy Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant Technology)
• Experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and conducting component change-outs across CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, or Hitachi heavy plant equipment
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (mandatory – no visa sponsorship provided)
• Ability to pass a QLD Coal Board Medical, Pre-Employment Medical, Functional Assessment & Drug and Alcohol testing
• Current Manual Australian Driver's Licence (mandatory)
• Surface Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, EWP, Dogging (advantageous)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform breakdowns, diagnostics, general servicing, and component change-outs
• Troubleshoot and provide innovative maintenance solutions
• Support the continuous performance of Emeco’s rental fleet
