Work Location: Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people
Roster: 7D/7N/7R – FIFO ex Perth
This role sits within our Trucks department and involves the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to a range of large-scale Mining Trucks supporting Fortescue's mining operations. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and inspections on our mining fleet with a particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of large-scale mining equipment
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- Workshop and pit duties as required
- Work in conjunction with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Australian recognised trade certificate in the relevant field
- Previous experience working in the mining industry
- Mobile plant experience (trucks) is essential
- High regard for safety
- Heavy Rigid Driver’s License desirable
