Heavy Diesel Fitter - Meteor Downs

Emeco are now accepting applications for an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our highly skilled and evolving maintenance team located at Meteor Downs mine site. Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.

Have you been in your current role for too long? Is it time for a fresh experience, on a different mine site with a new crew? If you’ve had the exposure to CAT equipment and believe you can hit the ground running in this role, please reach out any time day or night for a catch up as this will be filled fast.

The Perks:

• Full Time option - EARN Upwards of $70 per hour + Super
• Casual Rate option – EARN Upwards of $80 per hour + Super
• Your hourly rate - will directly reflect your level of experience
• DIDO – Vehicle Allowance Offered – Extra $$$

The Fleet On-Site:

• CAT – 992 Wheel Loaders

What we’ll need from you:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
• Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
• National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
