Heavy Diesel Fitter (Workshop)

Various Roles Available:

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics for Components, Engine Bay and Cylinder Bay to join our Force Equipment Workshop team based in Mackay. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced trades people and be responsible for the following;

• Ongoing maintenance and servicing of Emeco/client equipment and machines
• Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
• Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
• Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives

We are looking for

• Experienced and trade qualified HD Fitters/Mechanics
• Significant post trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment namely, Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
• A strong commitment to safety
• Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
• High Risk Work Licence with Dogging, Rigging, Crane, EWP and Working at Heights classifications will be highly regarded
