Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We’re seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics (Kalgoorlie residential only) with strong CAT mobile plant experience, a knack for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship every time.

What your day looks like:

• Completing repairs and rebuilds on a variety of CAT machines from underground, ancillary machines to haul trucks.

• Performing quality checks throughout the rebuild process to ensure all work adheres to high standards of accuracy and reliability.

• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, including use of OEM diagnostic systems.

What we’ll need from you:  

• Competent with CAT SIS and ET

• Australian recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate

• Proven ability to diagnose faults and troubleshoot across all aspects of heavy mobile equipment.

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

• High Risk Licence – Forklift

• Significant post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment.

• Experience with CAT mobile mining equipment.
