Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics to join our Rebuilds team in our newly fitted out Guildford Workshop on an 8:6 roster. 

You'll work alongside a talented team and carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance on the Force fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing rebuilds on CAT machinery.
• Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within time and cost targets.
• Working with Force customers to meet company objectives and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults, including use of OEM diagnostic systems.

Required skills/experience and attributes:

• Strong focus on Safety and Quality
• Must be competent with CAT SIS and ET
• Must be highly safety contentious.
• Must be highly driven and capable of working alone and as part of a team. 
• Sound troubleshooting skills and diagnostics in all aspects.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• High Risk Licence – Forklift
• Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Certificate; and
• Experience with CAT mobile mining equipment.
