We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics for our Powertrain Component Rebuild section, joining the Force Equipment Workshop team based in Mackay. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced trades people and be responsible for the following;

  • Rebuild of Caterpillar Powertrain Components.
  • Ongoing maintenance and servicing of Emeco/client equipment and machines
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives

We are looking for

  • Experienced and trade qualified HD Fitters/Mechanics
  • Experience rebuilding components, building transmissions, brakes and powertrain components
  • Significant post trade experience with heavy earth moving component repairs namely, Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
  • High Risk Work Forklift licence.
